From cash to confidence
William Marshall, Chief Investment Officer at HRIS, will share the latest market views and explore how advisers can convert untapped household wealth into long-term investment by addressing the barriers and behaviours that keep clients in cash. Advisers will leave the session with practical recommendations for shifting reluctant clients from inertia to action, and a clearer framework for the conversations that turn cash savers into confident long-term investors.
VCTs uncovered
Emma Biasiolo, Investment Director at Beringea, is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities and portfolio management for the ProVen VCTs. She will share her knowledge and experience of the VCT world, bringing to life some of the portfolio companies.
The current state of play with pensions and IHT
Dentons’ Technical Sales Director, Steve McPhillips, will provide an assessment of how things are looking in relation to bringing pensions within scope of Inheritance Tax (IHT) from April 2027, in light of the passing into law of Finance Act 2026. He will cover aspects such as options for payment of IHT on pensions, potential impacts on investments such as commercial property and finding liquidity within self-invested pension schemes.
This event will qualify for 90 minutes of CPD and you'll receive a certificate of attendance after the event has taken place.
